The Wonderful, Wacky Witches

This radio show was created as the creative response to the pandemic, offering a way to keep my high school students engaged with theatre. This is a four-episode, family-friendly show following a small coven of witches, and their over-excited side table as they endeavor to defeat a source of evil in their town. If you’re looking for a little whimsy and a whole lot of laughs, then listen below. All episodes were written by Katie Moore, as a senior at Chelsea High School.
Episode 1 - Hat Trick
Our witches are sent on a wild goose chase after an evil someone has broken in and stolen Gwen’s very special witch’s hat. Whatever will she do?!
Episode 2 - Mystery Mansion
While on a quest to find Hector some socks he deems acceptable, the witches are caught in a terrible storm, and forced to seek refuge in a mansion that makes its own french fries! But is the fry mansion too good to be true?
Episode 3 - A Ribbiting Tale
Hector needs some fancy new socks - again! But something’s wrong with all of the shops in this town - where are all the people? Our witches are swept up in an unexpectedly ribbiting adventure as they try to save lives and livlihoods of the ones they hold dear.
Episode 4 - One of Us
Feeling defeated after suffering Rowena’s wrath, Laurel leaves the cottage, and her life as a witch forever. But will they all be able to survive without each other?
